What is Zout and Why would I use it?
Zout is the original laundry stain remover. It was created in the 1960′s as a stain removal product for those in the medical profession. Zout is easy to use and that works hard to remove everyday stains from your family’s laundry.
Leading stain remover competitors only have one enzyme, but Zout contains three enzymes. Three enzymes are important for three different types of stains that commonly occur: protein stains, starch stains and oily stains.
Each enzyme gets out a different kind of stain:
- Protease gets out protein stains such as: grass, blood, baby formula and dirt.
- Amylase gets out starch stains like: BBQ sauce, tomato sauce, baby food, gravy and chili.
- Lipase targets oily stains like: butter, salad dressing and grease.
Its Key Ingredients:
Zout Stain Remover is made up of cleaning agents and enzymes. Enzymes are derived from the environment and help to break down stains.
How to use it?:
Saturate the stained area with Zout. Rub Zout into the stain and wait approximately 1 to 5 minutes before laundering. Then launder the stained item per the fabric care instructions.
Zout Laundry Stain Remover is safe on all colorfast washables but is not recommended for use only on silk fabrics.
You can even add a 1/2 cup of Zout to your laundry with your detergent to give your laundry an extra kick!
Where to buy it?:
Zout Laundry Stain Remover is available at grocery stores and mass merchandisers such as Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger and Safeway.
How much does it cost?:
Prices varies from retailer to retailer with a suggested retail price of the following:
- Zout Foam/Spray Stain Remover $2.99 – $3.99 for 22 oz
Zout Liquid Pull Top Stain Remover $2.79 for 16 ounces.
Mom’s Point of View:
You can watch video to see how it works and you can also compare Zout with other stain removers like shout in http://www.zout.com/media-center. Don’t worry to see more stains. Zout will help you to remove it. Throw away all the other stain removers including shout as they only minimize the stains that will cause you worry why it still exits and shirts look old and weird. Another important thing, you should know that Zout doesn’t harm the flame resistance on your children sleepwear white getting out baby stains such as: baby food, juice, baby formula and even organic stains.
Zout is guaranteed to remove your stains or your money back!

My experience in removing stains is I don’t usually get them out very well. This sounds like it would work better.

I was babysitting my 15 month old granddaughter and after feeding her lunch noticed some stains on her light pink t-shirt. I soaked it in cold water and to my surprise when I checked it out a few hours later, the stains had disappeared. Tossed it in the wash and it was good as new. That was one of my luckier moments
