Rock ’N Learn, Inc. began as an idea that would help children learn by putting educational material to music with a current sound—the kind of music that kids enjoy and find motivating. Headquartered in Conroe, Texas, just north of Houston, Rock ’N Learn is owned and operated by its founders, Richard and Brad Caudle. Our primary warehouse is in North Carolina.
Working as a school psychologist in 1986, Richard saw the need for multi-sensory learning programs using the styles of music that kids love. He consulted his younger brother Brad, an accomplished musician, to record their first program to help kids learn multiplication facts. Strong sales of this recording in the school specialty and book markets led to other programs and the start of a successful company.
Richard and Brad never varied from their number one goal of providing children with programs that would make learning easier as well as fun. Brad’s wife Melissa, a former second-grade teacher, writes material and coordinates educational research for Rock ’N Learn. Richard’s wife, Kathie, manages sales and marketing.

After each story, students are rewarded by reading and singing a cool, rockin’ song that reviews the story and presents more challenging words.

One of the best ways to give young learners practice with reading is to offer them classic stories they can read over and over. This type of literature-based approach not only provides practice with a familiar story, but also helps children learn how to use contextual clues as they read for meaning. With this DVD, students can practice reading skills just about anywhere—at home, on the road, on any computer that has a DVD player, and in the classroom. No book is necessary, and students read right along with the words on screen. Read Along Stories on DVD can be particularly useful as a reward activity or as a way for teachers to provide extra practice for a specific group of students. It is also extremely useful for students that are not native English speakers, such as those in ESL programs. Students practice reading and build their vocabulary.

Human Body: How will you teach your kids about our organs of Human Body? I think you will look for dvds in the library but I don’t think that they will be useful and very interesting to read. Rock ‘N Learn Human Body is the best DVD for your kids to learn and explore about different organs of our body. It is very easy for them to understand with its colorful organs of human body. Kids can cover its material in their Science class. The subject also covered 5th through 8th graders for tests on the human body, but also hold the interest and capture the imaginations of younger kids. Kids will enjoy its music with lots of sound effects, and exciting animations.
Read Along Stories on DVD: Every parents are very busy in their daily routine. It would be great tool for teachers to teach kids effortlessly before they learn to become better readers. This DVD features four classic stories on DVD: The Three Little Pigs, The Ugly Duckling, Jack and the Beanstalk, and The Little Red Hen. Each story is rewritten to be at an approximate second-grade level and help students learn a valuable lesson about life. Plus, each story includes its own fun song. Students enjoy following the bouncing ball to read and sing along.
My son loved both DVDs and enjoy to watch them 3 to 4 times. He’s confident that he learnt everything about them. He said that he can answer any questions if I ask him. I am surprised to hear what he said. I encourage you all to try to win or buy them for Christmas gifts to explore them more about this DVDs.
