A Story of Joyful Giving! Find out as the Veggies discover the true joy of giving to others — at Christmas time and throughout the year!
Laura Carrot’s Christmas stocking might be empty this year because her dad is in danger of losing his job. While Larry thinks a letter to the North Pole should fix the problem, Bob knows what will really help … and tells the story of a little boy named Nicholas who made a discovery in Bethlehem that changed Christmas forever. But what did Nick learn and how can it possibly help Laura and her family?!
Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Matthew West and GRAMMY Award-winning artist Amy Grant celebrate Christmas by recording “Give This Christmas Away” with producer Brown Bannister at his Franklin, Tenn. studio. The song and Operation Christmas Child music video are featured on Saint Nicholas!
Featuring all-stars Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber, this new seasonal DVD tells the story of Saint Nicholas, the world’s greatest giver, and introduces Nicky the Pepper, the first new VeggieTales character in five years. Bonus features include an original new song by critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Matthew West, “Give This Christmas Away,” performed by West and Grammy Award-winning artist Amy Grant.

Review
We began huge fan of Veggie Tales when we watched for the first time. I also enjoy to watch it between my work break. It’s very entertaining to watch at home with cute songs and humorous dialogue as its moral of the story for Christmas is not getting but giving. The Veggies tell the tale of a boy whose parents love to help those who have less fortunate without being selfishness and greediness. It teaches children the true meaning of lessons to make them understand to help those who can’t celebrate Christmas. Unfortunately, Laura the Carrot and her family may not have a Christmas at all. All of the Veggies try to think of ideas to help out, but Bob the Tomato, has a great lesson to tell the story of the little boy who eventually became known as St. Nicholas. It runs approximately 50 min.; Recommended Ages 2-5.

My favorite veggie was broccholi.
it would have been potatoes.
i always loved broccoli! i loved that they look like little trees.
My grandmother used to make stewed tomatoes when I was little. This included: canned diced stewed tomatoes, bread, and lots of sugar. I loved it!
I never liked vegetables much, but I do eat lettuce, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and corn.
Fresh peas picked from the garden and eat straight out of the pod. Yum! Thanks for the great contest!
