Over the next three weeks, college students (and their parents) will spend more than $3 billion on the most essential of all winter back-to-school items: textbooks. The average student spends nearly $700 on textbooks for the new semester, but an increasing number are bringing these costs down by renting their textbooks instead. Textbook rentals hardly existed four years ago, but they now account for nearly 48% of all sales. By renting textbooks students can save 60-80% off the list price. Rent your textbooks from eCampus.com and see why so many students are excited about saving tons of cash this semester!
We must be thankful to ecampus for sending us the above info-graph chart to compare how much we can save when we rent or buy used textbooks. I never thought about this simple but it’s very innovative concept. I thought that the students get free textbooks or pay very little and they may pay less when they go to college or university. Now I am so happy that college students can find convenient way of purchasing their books each semester from here and save a lot. This ecampus website helps them to figure out to choose their options of buying, selling or purchasing text books. This concept help students to maintain books in good condition as they can earn some money by selling them back.
eCampus.com’s stated mission is to provide the easiest, fastest, and cheapest way for college and university students to rent textbooks, buy textbooks and sell textbooks. eCampus.com believes the Internet buying experience should be fun and that shopping for textbooks should be as fast and convenient as possible. The company makes a personal commitment to every customer that eCampus.com will be the best source for everything they need.

Textbooks are so expensive! it’s not surprise we’re going to digital!
great savings
My son is starting college so we are looking for cheap books. Thanks for this timely review
Makes sense – that way the student won’t get stuck with outdated textbooks that can’t be sold, they’ll always have the up-to-date text.
im going to pass this on to my little sis. she has one more semester before she graduates!!! shes the first in our family,so proud of her!

Renting definitely makes more sense from an economic perspective. Thanks for sharing this site!
I wish I had this when I went to school. What a great way to save. Thanks for the great review of this site. Rita
It’s so much cheaper to rent textbooks, especially because you will rarely ever reuse it again after a class and more times then not the professor changes the assigned textbook often anyway.
This is an idea long overdue.
What a great and savings for the student
My son is in his last year of college and he will graduate in May of this year~! YEAH~! Wish I had known about this earlier because it would of saved me a bundle on his books! He is the oldest so I’ll remember this post for future graduates

My son uses textbook rentals and saves a lot of money every semester. Some of his textbooks cost up to $150 a piece, and when a student has to buy 5-6 texts every semester the cost is just phenomenal. Renting the book is much more cost effective and at the end of the semester he just returns them and isn’t left with a pile of texts he no longer needs and has to try to sell. Even the campus bookstore pays hardly anything when you sell them back.
It seems like more and more students are choosing to rent textbooks, which definitely seems like it can save some money. It will be interesting to see how they interact with the rise of ebooks.

Unfortunately most of my son’s textbooks weren’t available, but I wish this had been around when he was a freshman, we would have saved a LOT.

Wow students can save so much if they rent their books instead of buying them.
I know that I will be looking into book rentals. I did see there are a few companies now that are renting. I have two kids in college and I can’t believe how much I spend on textbooks. Any help we can get will be great.
