Give her what she’ll love

American Girl has become one of my top list that has 18-inch dolls, books, accessories, and interactive online experience for girls ages 8 and up. I am surprised this dark skin, textured dark brown hair, brown eyes doll to our family friend’s daughter for her birthday presents. She loves and held her all the time. She can feel the softness of her cloth and her movable head and limbs are made of smooth vinyl. Her doll also comes with the Real Me Outfit and a charm-keeper necklace and she is very much interested to create unique personality of her doll. You can find more beautiful accessories in their website. More fun activities for Quizzes, Girl Buzz, Games and much more!
I encourage her to visit www.innerstarU.com to play online for a fun, enriching, safe online world created just for girls and their My American Girl™ dolls.
She also received 3 different magazines and find very interesting to read and learn more about craft and party ideas, and stories about the real girls who have interest in different experience.
For holiday guide ideas, you can give her gift card to make her smile and she can browse and choose the best one in their catalog.

cute dolls!
I’ve seen these dolls advertised and it remarkable how they look like your child. I think this is a great idea….kinda like a mini me.
These dolls and accessories area ALL the RAGE. All of my nieces, ages 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 want one or want more if they already have one.
A great gift idea that would be very appreciated.
I love these dolls, they are so unique!
I think any way that we can promote little girl’s to play with dolls and use thier imagination is a win. Too many of them are so preoccupied with iPods and cell phones when they should be playing with dolls and reading books.
my daughter is too young for this right now but when she is old enough i can’t wait to get her one of these!
I wished I had a girl so I could get one of these. I think they are cool.
My daughter was asking for one of these dolls, but I never even checked them out. After seeing them I’m feeling pretty bad. Her birthday is coming up in 2 months, so I won’t feel bad for long.
I am glad to see a doll for the older girls, I love the up to date clothes that are available. In the photo, you can see she enjoys her new gift.
Thanks for the review!
My daughter loves these dolls. Her friends have a number of them and she was begging for one for Christmas. They’re pretty costly, but we did get her one and she hasn’t put it down yet.
I love the way that you can customize your own doll. How neat!
i didn’t think american girl dolls were appropriate for tweens, but the Just Dad and Me: The Fill-in, Tear-out, Fold-up Book of Fun for Girls and Their Dads and the Raising an American Girl: Parenting Advice for the Real World books actually seem quite relavent!
I think that’s great that they can have a doll that looks like them. It’s better for their self esteem rather than Barbie- then they think that all little girls need to have the perfect little waist. This is just a great idea all around!
I think the idea that we can choose the doll’s look is a great idea, we can all have our own identities. Not all of us are Barbies.
My daughter owns a twin doll and she loves her.
The even have the same Outfit.
I’m glad that there is a doll for girls that isn’t over-sexualized. With the different books, magazines and clothes, it looks like a girl could have a lot of fund with this doll.
We love these dolls! I only wish they them when I was growing up.
These dolls are very nice and well made. I would like to get one for my daughter when she is older and shows an interest.
I have seen a few of these but haven’t really paid much attention as my girls are either too old or too young. But I love your review and how you described the dolls and their attributes. I think they are adorable!
Thank you for the info on these wonderful dolls!
Enjoyed your review and these dolls are so cute and lifelike, would love to get one for my 2 1/12 year old granddaughter who really enjoys playing with her dolls.
Love the American Girl dolls, but who can afford them? Not me, for sure. Maybe someday I’ll win one!
My niece love the American Girl Dolls-it’s interesting that you can choose the doll’s personality-this has to be a new feature in the custom doll world.
My daughter is now 22 years old but she still treasures her American Girl Dolls. The dolls and their accessories are more than just playthings, this is something my daughter will pass on proudly to her children.
Our Granddaughters have been wanting these dolls for a very long time
What a cutie pie! I meant your daughter and the doll! A couple of cutie pies! She looks very content with her new dolly. I have one – it’s the Angel doll. My daughter bought it for me about 12 yrs. ago and she still looks like new!

@XmasDolly,
She’s my friend’s daughter not my daughter. I have only 2 sons.
When I was younger, I read all these books like crazy. I got their catalog in the mail and wanted a doll so badly. To this day, I still kinda want one–even though I only have sons b/c I wanted one so much when I was younger & never got one. I’d keep it for myself.

I had never heard of American Girl dolls until I spoke with a five year this afternoon who talked on and on about her favorite Christmas present. I think that the tween doll is perfect for girls who feel too old to play with Barbie dolls, but not yet ready to give up playing with dolls altogether.
These are my niece’s favorite dolls- they are in Japan (Daddy is in the Marines) so they LOVE that they are “American” Girl dolls. Excellent quality.

Great review Rajee these dolls are so beautiful.my girls loved dolls when they were little and they would have loved these…so gorgeous
I don’t have any girls of the right age for this but it’s certainly one that I would have loved for myself. Maybe I’ll just go ahead and get it for myself.
This doll is great. Love that you can customize it and it’s not just aanother factory churned out doll. Sure to be a big hit with the girls.
These dolls are great, we love them here with all our girls. They still have theirs from when they were much younger.
