Banquet Overview
For 50 years, Banquet has been making the familiar foods that families love. From Salisbury steak to crispy fried chicken and turkey pot pies to chicken breast tenders, you can always count on Banquet to provide consistently good taste at a great value.
Banquet products include frozen dinners, pot pies, fried chicken, chicken nuggets, tenders and patties, Banquet wings, Homestyle Bakes, and Crock-Pot® Classics.
History
The Banquet brand began in 1953 with the introduction of frozen meat pies. Banquet frozen dinners first hit store shelves in 1955. The ’70s brought several different fried chicken offerings. Most recently, Banquet launched Homestyle Bakes and Dessert Bakes, and the brand revolutionized convenient, family-style cooking with the introduction of Banquet Crock-Pot Classics in 2004.
Look what’s new?
Banquet has just released 3 new single serve frozen fruit pies, peach, cherry berry and apple. I never try to cook pie due to diet conscious to add heavy cream, butter and sugar. I love to try one single serve after reading its label. I feel it should be better to bake them in an oven to avoid soggy and get crispiness that give fresh taste and aroma of fruit smell around you. Each piece costs only 70 cents and it would be great to serve it to an unexpected guests or any parties at home.
I went to Kroger and I could not find at least one pie. I am going to try all the frozen fruit pies in Walmart. Visit your local WalMart on August 26th through 28th for in-store demonstrations of these new Banquet Fruit Pies.

I know it’s not the most nutritional food in the world, but I LOVE Banquet’s chicken fried steak dinners!!
I’ve got to be honest… the idea of Banquet (not generally healthy) making my dessert too… yikes! I love apple pie and I would prefer it with less to attach to my hips. Haha. I bet it’s darn tasty, though!
These look good! We like once in a while getting tv dinners and sitting down like in the old days and watching tv. I remember when tv dinners banquet were 4/1.00. Can you believe how things have changed? Will be looking for these! Thanks for the great review!
