About the company

Following the introduction of the Kickboard, Micro® introduced several other award-winning, best-selling 2-and 3-wheel scooters and kickboards, which can now be found at highest quality leading retailers worldwide. Micro® continues to employ a combination of Swiss design and cutting edge technology, its formula for setting the standard for innovative, compact and portable lifestyle mobility products. No other Swiss designer has captured the world’s imagination so quickly. Today Micro® continues to deliver quality and innovation and is recognized as the leading brand for quality scooters and kickboards.

In 2008 Micro® re-introduced Kickboard® as its brand in the United States. The decision was taken by the founder and the CEO of Micro®, following the discovery that another company had registered the micro name in 2000, following Micro®’s own international registration of the micro® brand in 1999. At the time of Micro® US registration of the micro® brand in 2003, the US Trademark Registry Office granted Micro® the registration without hesitation. However, confusion in the marketplace over these and other similarly named products, Micro-Mobility decided to return to the name kick and Kickboard®, brands that represent their high-quality, award-winning scooters and 3-wheel kickboards.

Review

We always want our son to keep him busy and active in his daily routine and weekends. During the holidays, we don’t want just to sit at home, watch TV or play computer games. We often send him out to play with his new Maxi Kick Scooter. We asked him whether he finds any difference from his maxi Kickboard. He explained that it has two wheels in the front and one in the back made him comfortable to spin and carve smoothly on the road of our apartment. He says that he can spin fast. I told him to stop when the car comes. He said that his kickboard amazingly has break pedal and so it’s very safe for him to control while surfing. I should be with him when he used his old kick scooter as balancing is difficult.  Now we’re happy with new Swiss-designed Maxi Kick Scooter for kids ages 6-10 with a unique lean-and-steer mechanism. It’s light weight and durable to use it every day. The Maxi is available in purple or black and its retail value is $149.99 and worth every penny!

You can purchase the Mini Kickboard Scooter in select retailers and kickboardusa.com

What a unique design, I’ve definitely never seen a scooter with the two wheels in the front. Plus the handle and the brake look really easy for kids to use!

Looks like a great, safer scooter. Lightweight is good for 6-10 year olds and I agree…get them outside to play and get some exercise AND it looks like so much fun. My kids have LOTS of miles on their scooters!!!
