My kids are still pretty young (6 and 2) so we haven't talked a whole lot about him. Mostly we get books out of the library and read them when my 6 year old will sit still. Not too often yet! I like to tell the kids to imagine that they aren't allowed to go to school with all of the other kids or they have to sit at the back of the bus even when they are there first. It really puts things into perspective and they seem to appreciate what a difference civil rights activists really made.
