The MobiGo is geared towards children aged 3-8. My son is 8 years old and pestering us to buy an iPod Touch after my husband bought Touch Screen Phone and he was planning to buy an iPod Touch. I received this MobiGo for a Review and my son took it away from me, the moment I opened this Lovely Package. The MobiGo is easy to turn on and you can personalize the system with your child’s name and my son figured out by himself as it’s very easy to use. The system comes with one game cartridge called the Touch & Learn Game Pack. There are 6 different activities that explore math, problem solving, music and more! Touch screen technology is used on a few of the games and the QWERTY keyboard is used for the letter-related games. The screen is pleasant and it’s resistive Touch Screen, that is you’ve to hold it and pull it, which is ideal for kids as they’ll learn to use Touch Screen with moving after holding it firm
I like that the letters on the keyboard are arranged as a real keyboard and not in alphabetical order. The MobiGo unit has a directional pad and enter button. VTech is going to launch a Free Download Manager, which is to be installed in PC and we can download Games for FREE! by connecting this MobiGo with a USB Cable which is included with this package
It guides the Kids with Voice Messages, which helps them to educate and encourage them to play
The MobiGo Touch Learning System retails at $59.99 and the extra cartridges are $19.99 each. Touch screen applications and devises are definitely the way of the future and MobiGo Touch Learning System is a must for a Modern American Kid!
