The First Years has come up with the new brag badge for you to share all those milestones reached by your child. We all had a particularly trying (or rewarding) experience with your kids and thought, “I should get an award for that!”? Now you can make your own Brag Badge to share those FIRST experiences that are every parents’ rite of passage or customize one if you have a unique first. It’s a fun way to celebrate milestones or to let you know your child is not the only one that had a tantrum in the grocery store!
Being motherhood, there are lot of things to do with baby and kids. Some things have not been changed after struggling with Kabil to put him sleep in his crib. He loves to sleep on my hand. Sometimes, he put his hand on me to sleep longer. He cried lot if I put him in his crib. The doctor advised me that it would be better if we ask my mom to help him. We are not fortunate as our family is staying outside US.
I would love to share my experience with other moms and get some parenting advices how he can sleep himself in his crib.

My baby is depending too much to play with him. How much time is enough to spend time with 8 months old baby? Not sure whether I should spent time with him for 24 hours. Please share your thoughts.

      Because I have to leave the house to work, I have a nanny 12 hours per day , 6 days a week. She comes from 8-8. You cannot imagine how much that costs!
      Except for when they nap (they take 3 naps, 3 times per day) she is playing with t…hem all of the time. They may spend 15 minutes here or there in a swing, bouncer or exersaucer, whereby she can do some cleaning, even if they are engaged in play by themselves, they need to be supervised, at this point.
      The other 12 hours, I am with them. They sleep in the bedroom with us and wake a few times per night, for one reason or another. So my sleep rarely feels fully complete and satisfying.
      When they are this young, the do need constant attention, and that makes it difficult, at least for me!

    • Rajee Pandi I am very sad as Kabil never sleeps in his crib during the day. He mostly sleep on my hand and lap. I am unable to clean the house chores and barely have time for myself. I don’t even have time to take him out as I have to start doing other work afther he wake up :(
