This is a fully-capable combination clock with many of our key features and the added capability to connect with signalers as well as a nearby lamp. The SB1000 and SB1000ss extend the convenience level to eliminate the need for separate receivers in your bedroom to alert you to such things as your baby’s crying, doorbell or telephone when using a Sonic Alert signaller. There is also a test button on the unit to explore which combination of flashing lights, shaking bed or loud pulsating audio alarm will work best for you.

Sleep well – live well knowing you’re connected!

· SS12V Super Shaker™ bed vibrating unit (included with SB1000ss)

· Built-in receiver (for other Sonic Alert signalers)

· Lamp connection

· Built-in flashing alert lights

· 9V battery backup, maintains time and alarm setting in the event of power failure (battery not included)

· Five-year Sonic Alert blast-proof warranty

I know Alarm Clock with Super Shaker™ – SB1000ss is quiet popular. Wait for a minute. I have to hold my breath to express out my feelings. Yes, I can tell you slowly. You may be curious. I have hearing loss, but I can converse it with you well. It doesn’t mean that I am totally deaf. I can hear and talk with my hearing aids. May be I can write more about my life later or using more advance technology for people with hard of hearing. You may remember that I wrote review about Amplicom PowerTel 580 Combo.

My husband used to be alarm as I always tell him to wake me up as I’m hard of hearing, so I feel bad that I disturb him a lot until I start using this alarm clock. Because of my hard of hearing, alarm alone can’t help me and I require a bed-shaker feature with a clock, so I don’t have to rely on my husband to wake me up, which gives me a confidence and an another degree of independence. It is much louder than any standard alarm clock. The vibrator works very well and is guaranteed to wake up even the deepest of sleepers. You can put it under your mattress, which will cause the majority of it to vibrate, or you can place it on the bed side table to make a loud vibrating noise and the choice is yours

The clock not only has a piercing alarm, but you can also plug in a light that will flash along with the alarm, as well as the bed-shaker vibrator. So I can sense that if someone knock our main door with this blinking lights. Each feature can be set to function independently or work with other functions. The buttons are big, so it’s easy to switch buttons in the dark. The clock numbers are bright and big in size, which helps to see the time clearly.

I like that it’s loud and I’m so hard to wake up. The alarm will usually wake people in other rooms before myself.

I never knew products like this existed, my son is hard of hearing and never can hear his alarm clock. I am going to look into getting on of these for him since he will be going away to college next year and I won’t be there to wake him up thanks for the information.
