About Fair Trade Sports, Inc.

Fair Trade Sports, Inc is the first sports equipment company in the US to launch a full line of Eco-Certified Fair Trade sports balls, ensuring Fair Trade Certified wages and healthy working conditions for our adult workers. Be sure to also check out our sweatshop-free apparel. We have both an online retail store and wholesale store. Here are our product certifications.

We are committed to donate all profits after taxes to children’s charities, both domestic and international. Sound familiar? It’s a similar idea to the one behind the Newman’s Own brand you see in the grocery store. To learn more, take a quick trip over to our blog.

We expect to reach profitability in 2010. Until then, we donate $1000 annually to these charities, which benefit at-risk children worldwide.

Review

We got the Eco Soccer Ball in the mail. We don’t know soccer but we want our son to learn it with this ball. He loves it lot and find so comfort to play with it for hours with his neighbor friends.  He loves the touch and the durable of the ball. It comes deflated, and it includes a needle for inflating it.  Synthetic leather and a latex bladder give this ball great bounce and shape.. A conversation with RESPECT is the good way to start with to spread the word. If you know more about this ball, you’ll be amazed as it’s not average ball and much better than other soccer balls. You can subscribe their blog to know more about it.  We can encourage our son to practice it for Olympics. Some people are using it for Olympics.

Fair Trade Sports was featured in an issue of Experience Life magazine, which is wholly focused on the issues of our time: health and fitness, conservation, and eco-friendly, sustainable goods.
