Description
Erudition™, an educational board game, incorporates over 300 sight words and the letters of the alphabet in an enjoyable, engaging activity. The game takes new readers on a fun adventure through literacy land complete with common landmarks and street signs. They earn a bonus roll after correctly identifying a game card. The first player to reach the library is the winner! The average play time is 15-20 minutes.
Game cards are categorized to promote differentiated instruction so children of all reading levels can play together! They choose from one of four card games:
check-mark-red.jpg 26 blue game cards – upper and lower case letters
check-mark-red.jpg 94 green game cards – beginner level sight words
check-mark-red.jpg 95 yellow game cards – intermediate level sight words
check-mark-red.jpg 95 red game cards – advanced level sight words
The blue cards also contain two words that emphasize that letter’s fundamental phonic sound. The sight word game cards include syllabication and simple definitions to assist in word decoding, word pronunciation and reading comprehension. Through repetitive interaction with basic phonic sounds, sight words and their definitions, new readers enhance their reading skills while playing a fun game. Erudition™ provides families and schools with a useful tool for pre-school and elementary school students.

Review
Does your child have problems of reading and pick up simple words from the books? No problem, your child can learn and play easily through Erudiction game and also improve their reading skills. It would also easy for them when the teacher teaches in their classes too. Children of different ages can play together to improve different words. They can also develop vocabulary development, word comprehension or even spelling practice. After receive it, I understand how important to have it every member of family at home even classroom. It’s very easy to play and easy to follow the directions like Shoots and Ladders games. The game is colorful, durable, and the kids can motivate the game cards with phonetic development with words and sounds. They also develop the love of reading books. They can also engaged more difficult words after mastering it. It will be great help if every teacher allow their students to play with it. It’s much better than the flash cards. The game takes approximately 15-20 minutes to play. I highly recommend to every family, teachers and friends!

I think it’s just great. I used to teach pre-k and it’s a lot easier to teach through playing games or songs instead of by rote, not to mention, a lot more fun for the children.
