We call Portland, Oregon home. Since 2004, when the desire to find natural cosmetics turned into a full-fledged company, Alima Pure has been committed to creating dazzling colors in the form of high quality, all natural mineral cosmetics.

While using mineral makeup is setting new trends, the ingredients are as old as can be. The luxurious mineral pigments in our makeup can be beneficial to the skin. They include subtle reflective properties, sun protection and anti-inflammatory benefits.

The conventional wisdom of choosing organic produce over the pesticide-rich stuff holds true with cosmetics as well. There are a lot of noxious chemicals in cosmetics that probably shouldn’t get anywhere near your skin. If you can’t pronounce it, chances are you shouldn’t highlight your cheeks with it, is our philosophy.

Today, Alima Pure cosmetics are available in Europe and parts of Asia. And of course, we ship internationally.

This delightful little package is filled with deluxe samples of nine of our favorite shadows from the Limited Edition collections we released this year.  (Okay, we admit it, we snuck in a couple from 2008, but they were too pretty to leave out!)  It’s yours with a $65 purchase, and makes a great stocking stuffer or a nice treat for yourself.  Limit one per customer, please.

Review:

I am excited to receive 11 samples from Alima that include 4 shimmering eye shadows, 3 foundation, 1 color balancing powder, 1 shimmering eye liner. 1 shimmer powder and 2 blush. I love all the color selection of these samples. It’s very hard to decide which products to have as all the products from Alima will look beautiful and make the skin look young and natural.  Alima’s colors are so rich and long-lasting that you don’t need much to do a beautiful job. There are many different brands of mineral make up. With Alima, you won’t find any potential irritants like bismuth oxychloride, talc, dyes, fragrances, parabens, phthalates or preservatives in any of our cosmetics that that can cause irritation in some women and leave the skin unhealthy. Alima is so Pure that are earned with the BDIH European seal of approval for natural products. I always look for eco-friendly cosmetic products. With the Alima products, you can feel confident and look very natural to try all other products such as Alima Cosmetics, foundatation, concealer and eye shadow. It’s very safe to use Alima Cosmetics on sensitive skin as it’s eco-friendly and chemical free mineral make up.  I am very pleased with their products, service and environment.
